Oh look BP has finally decided to hand out some money for an oil spill fund, $US20 billion in fact! But how is it that all this money only comes out now? And how can they really seriously clean up the environment? Its already been permenently damaged and that means the livelihood of the people who live nearby that spill are now permenently affected, no amount of money can save that region now. But its good they have set this fund up its just that if this oil spill was sparked by multiple things and built up to why was it that they only discovered this AFTER the spill ocurred? shouldn’t it be BEFORE so we don’t have to go through all this? And allow the environment to still be intact and ALIVE?
